Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between Sakonix Global ("Sakonix", "we") and the business that uses Sakonix ("you"). By creating an organization in Sakonix or using the service, you accept them on behalf of your business.

The service

Sakonix is software for e-invoicing under ZATCA’s Phase 2 rules and for keeping accounts. It issues and signs your e-invoices, sends them to ZATCA and keeps your accounts. The app is at app.sakonix.com.

ZATCA and your obligations

  • ZATCA does not approve or certify e-invoicing software, and a listing in its directory of solution providers is not an approval. Sakonix is built to ZATCA’s published specifications and checked against ZATCA’s own software development kit.
  • You remain responsible for your tax obligations: connecting Sakonix to ZATCA through the Fatoora portal, the accuracy of what you issue, filing your returns, and keeping your records for as long as the law requires.
  • An issued invoice is a legal record and cannot be edited. Corrections are made with credit or debit notes.

Your account

  • Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
  • The owner of an organization decides who joins it and with what role, and is responsible for what its members do in it.

Trial, price and payment

  • Each new organization gets 14 days free, and no card is needed to start.
  • After the trial, the subscription is priced per organization, not per user, monthly or yearly, at the price shown on this website when you subscribe.
  • We invoice the subscription in advance for each month or year. Fees for a period that has started are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
  • We may change our prices. A new price applies from your next period, and we will tell you before it does.

Your data

  • Your business’s data is yours. We use it only to provide the service, as our Privacy Policy explains.
  • You can download a full backup of your organization at any time.
  • An owner can delete an organization. It can be restored for 30 days and is then deleted, except the e-invoices it issued, which we must keep in a separate archive for 15 years, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Acceptable use

Do not use Sakonix to issue false or misleading documents, to break the law, to reach data that is not yours, to disrupt the service, or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does, after telling you where we can.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Sakonix available and your data safe, but we cannot promise that the service will never be interrupted, for example for maintenance or because ZATCA’s own systems are unavailable.

We improve Sakonix continually and may change its features. If a change would take away something you rely on, we will tell you in advance.

Liability

Sakonix is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that Saudi law does not allow to be limited.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Sakonix at any time, and the subscription then ends at the close of the period you paid for. We may end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Before you leave, download your backup.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell account holders by email before a significant change takes effect. Using Sakonix after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute will be settled by the competent courts in Riyadh. They are written in Arabic and English; if the two differ, the Arabic text prevails.
